Michelle, I had the best time with you and your kiddies! What sweethearts they are. Seriously, it was so much fun. I loved being able to meet them for the first time. It's been too long since I've seen you or your family! Hope you enjoy the sneak peek because the gallery is nearly up! Here are some of my favorites:
This one just makes me smile
She's a vision...seriously, she is
Yeah, when the photographer comes - all house rules go to pot.
George Costanza - eat your heart out (there's more of these)
Nothing better than a spin on the LazyBoy
Swinging obviously takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and effort. It is NOT for the faint of heart.
Enjoy! I'll be emailing you soon!

Union Station shoot
This weekend I was going to have 2 separate shoots on Saturday. Unfortunately, due to sickness and other unfortunate circumstances, both shoots ended up being rescheduled for later in the month. On Friday, in preparation for Saturday, I went down to Union Station with my favorite models and took some fun shots. So, here are some of my favorites. And these are going to be my "Shot of the Day" shots for today and this weekend! Enjoy!

Happy Early Birthday to ME!

So, my Christmas/Birthday present this year was my much awaited, long anticipated new 50mm 1.4 lens! You would not believe the incredible depth of field this thing gets. And the ability to grab whatever insignificant light happens to be available in the image is amazing! I am soooo happy! Here's a picture of my new best friend! I had her shipped 2 day priority mail so that I could have her for the TWO shoots I have on Saturday. I am stoked about them both. They are both from Tim's office and one shoot is for a little 6 mo. old baby boy. Can't wait to meet him! And then later in the afternoon, I'm headed to Union Station in downtown Denver for a cute tweener whose mom has told me she's one incredible kid. I am thrilled to meet her and call her my friend!
So, here are some fun images I took with my new lens. Notice, the first one was the very first thing I took a picture of. Doesn't that speak volumes about my priorities... can we just say "CHOCOLATE" all together now :)

The E. Family - generations
It was truly such an incredible PLEASURE to meet the E. family. Some traveled all the way from Arizona to be with their family and I got the opportunity to take some quick pictures of them the day after Thanksgiving. It was frigid. But, we still managed. It was a very fast shoot, but we really got some great images. Here are some of my favorites.
I have to explain the humor in two of these because it made the shot. So as I was taking one of the brothers pictures (I don't remember his name...I know, I'm lame). But, he and his girlfriend were taking a few together and sweet little miss J. decided the shot would be MUCH better with a little added snowfall (not that there wasn't plenty coming down already). The shock of his girlfriend was PRICELESS. So funny.
The last shot, a couple images before little miss J. decided to stick out her tongue. Now, as a photographer - you sometimes get kids that are completely sick of taking pictures and decide that they are going to show it (my kids in particular). But, we were all wrong! Miss J. announced, "I'm tasting the snow!!" (duh, guys!) So, we had to do one with her dad, Mr. J. and his brother with little miss J. "tasting the snow!"

Mr. A - My favorite cowboy

I had a great time with Mr. A. He is the most adorable 3 year old cowboy I have ever met. We had a great time throwing rocks in the creek. A couple times he tossed some directly over me...that was fun :) But, he was great. He said "cheese" occasionally, but to be honest - I like the ones where they don't try to hard. Those are my favorites. I got so excited as I was doing the shoot. I was wishing my kids had a sweet hat and boots to take pictures with. Anytime anyone brings "props" - it is even better!

Vegas Portraits of Friends
While I was in Vegas at the beginning of August, I met up with all my old college roomies (less one) and we took portraits! It was so funny and we really had a great time. Anyway, here are some fun ones.

Another handsome guy to shoot
Sounds bad. Not bad. I swear. My good friend Jameson is going on a mission for our church to Brazil in September and so this was sort of my way of thanking Heavenly Father for my gifts and sharing them with those that serve him. Anyway, Jameson was a great model. Here are some of my favorites.
