So, my Christmas/Birthday present this year was my much awaited, long anticipated new 50mm 1.4 lens! You would not believe the incredible depth of field this thing gets. And the ability to grab whatever insignificant light happens to be available in the image is amazing! I am soooo happy! Here's a picture of my new best friend! I had her shipped 2 day priority mail so that I could have her for the TWO shoots I have on Saturday. I am stoked about them both. They are both from Tim's office and one shoot is for a little 6 mo. old baby boy. Can't wait to meet him! And then later in the afternoon, I'm headed to Union Station in downtown Denver for a cute tweener whose mom has told me she's one incredible kid. I am thrilled to meet her and call her my friend!
So, here are some fun images I took with my new lens. Notice, the first one was the very first thing I took a picture of. Doesn't that speak volumes about my priorities... can we just say "CHOCOLATE" all together now :)
