The beginning of a week always seems to have endless possibilities when you start out! So, I'm oddly excited when Mondays roll around. Although the end of the weekend is a bit disheartening - but this week is a good one because my parents are coming out on Saturday to visit and we are going to have a great time with them. We are hitting the Sushi Den restaurant with our friends Niki and Phil S. I have never had sushi before so I'm unsure what to expect but Tim had it last week and hasn't stopped talking about it. So - off we go.
I did a family shoot last week for some adorable kids. The great thing is - these kids really are family. Part of mine. We had a ton of fun. Indoor shots are always a bit more difficult for me just because the kids are limited in their mobility and it seems they struggle to be themselves a little more. But, I was happy to accomodate the request. So, here are some from that shoot too.
I've got a senior shoot coming up in August, along with a infant and a family shoot. It's going to be a busy August! But, I look forward to that. It should also be a ton of fun.
So, to add to my repetoire of jobs, I am now an official garage sale-r. After we moved, for the 3rd time as a married couple, I have managed to tote along much of the same stuff that inevitably ends up in some corner of the basement. No more! We are chucking the stuff. I have a TON to do to get ready though. I need to go through all the girls clothes and sort through what I can't live without if we have another girl. But, once that part is done, I am going to a kids consignment shop to see if I can ditch some of it with them and what they don't take, I'll sell on my own. But, I just can't handle the idea of having any more stuff than is necessary. And we have a ton of unnecessary things. So, we are going to get rid of what we can and hope to make a small chunk of change. That makes it so much better when you have to part with things.
