Photoshoot...

Today my friend and nearby photographer, Tori Thorp called and suggested we do an impromptu photoshoot. Me shooting her kids and vice versa. We went to Whispering Pines Park, it was not ideal sunlight as it was basically directly over head - but there were some fun pictures to take regardless. We had a great time. We are hoping to head downtown next week sometime.

Big Sky Country

No, we don't live in Montana but not a day goes by that I don't look up at the sky in absolute awe of where I live. Here are some fun images I took the other day while driving in my car. Yes, not safe I guess. But I wasn't actually holding the camera to my face. Kind of point-and-shoot -ish. My favorite is the one where I actually managed to catch the plane that happened to be flying overhead.

Happy nearly Easter!

Good gracious~! I can hardly believe Easter is around the bend. We don't even have a full week left! I can't believe that? I am thrilled, I love Easter...but I do prefer to have it in April rather than March. Well, what do you do? So, in honor of the upcoming blessed event...go out there and be creative. Assignment 4: Photograph something that represents what Easter means to you.

For me, it's rebirth. I love the idea of eggs. I fresh start. A new beginning. And when you get to color them these delicious hues of the rainbow...it can't be beat. So, get started!
